Alex was born in Sun Valley, Idaho and had the opportunity to move around quite a bit as a child. Everywhere she lived competitive dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading remained a part of her life from the age of 3, until present day. 

 

Alex graduated high school from Mccook, Nebraska where she was a varsity cheerleader all 4 years. She then went on to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where she started coaching competitive cheerleading at Cheer Xpress. Alex has spent several years providing choreography, coaching tumbling for dancers, elite level cheerleading tumbling, as well as coaching Worlds level all star cheerleading teams. Coaching tumbling is a strength of Alex's. She is a certified cheer and tumbling coach through all levels. She has attended various conferences and training and is always looking for opportunities to grow and learn new techniques. 

 

Alex has been a 4th grade teacher for 8 years. Last year, her teaching career brought her to Bennington Public Schools. She now lives in the Omaha area. Alex has a passion for working with children of all ages, and helping them reach their goals in and out of the dance studio.
