Rachel Friesen
34 Week Instructor (Ballet)

Rachel Friesen was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. She started dance at
the age 5 in her neighbor's basement and hasn't stopped dancing since. She took the
opportunity to teach at a studio in Loveland, Colorado called The Studio, where she
directed the competition team for 7 years. During this time, the team grew from
seven members to 45, won overall on several competitions, performed in the
Holiday Bowl Half Time Show, and The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She has
danced with Lemon Sponge Cake Ballet and Soul Work Dance Company, two
Colorado based professional companies.

Rachel married Trenton Friesen in 2014 and moved to Nebraska shortly after. Here
she has taught at Nebraska Dance Studio, Smitty's and Underground Dance Factory, which
has been featured in the popular show, Dance Moms. She created and ran a nonprofit dance studio from 2016-2022 called EMPAC Dance.  Rachel is passionate about producing not only brilliant dancers but incredible people. She believes that dance is more than just a great after school activity or sport, but that it can also help mold young people into responsible, determined, and self-disciplined humans. Rachel is thrilled to have the opportunity to invest in the kids at No Limits.

Be on the lookout for Rachel's two little girls, Brylee (5) who is on the Itty Bitty team and Adlee (2) who will be copying every movement she sees. Also there will be another girl arriving for the Friesen family at the end of November!
